The said petition was admitted by this Commission registered as Case No.P-01/PDS/2026. This Commission had held a public hearing on 30th April 2026 on the said petition and obtained the views/comments and suggestions from consumers and stake holders. In the meanwhile, Power Department has filed a revised petition on 2nd June 2026 before this Commission with certain modifications/changes in the projected Annual Revenue Requirement (ARR) and has proposed revisions in the tariffs proposed for F.Y. 2026-27 citing an increase in power purchase cost and other uncontrollable expenses. The Petition can be viewed and downloaded from the Commission’s website (www.sserc.org/Petition) and from the Official website of the Power Department (www.power.sikkim.gov.in) Therefore, SSERC intends to hold a hearing on the revised Petition filed by the Power Department to obtain views, comments, suggestions and objections, if any, from consumers and stake holders.
